Visit L3Harris.com for more information.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong> </strong><strong>Job Description: </strong> </span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The Electrician 1/C – Maintenance is responsible for performing skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility and production electrical systems. This role supports all Value Centers by ensuring reliable operation of electrical infrastructure, equipment, and control systems in a safe and compliant manner.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions: </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of high and low voltage electrical systems and equipment</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and standard testing methods</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Support electrical systems including transformers, motors, control circuits, and distribution systems</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Install and maintain communication/data wiring (CAT5/6) and related infrastructure</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Support HVAC electrical systems and energy management/control systems</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and company safety standards</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Collaborate with other trades to support facility operations and emergency repairs</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Operate lifts, tools, and equipment safely, including company vehicles</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications: </strong>(refer to <a href="https://my.l3harris.com/CareerFramework/">Career Framework</a>)</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• High School Diploma or equivalent</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Strong knowledge of 480V/277V and 208V/120V systems</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment effectively</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Familiarity with OSHA, NEC, NFPA standards</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Valid driver’s license required</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Preferred Additional Skills: </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Experience with HVAC systems and building automation/controls</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Experience with industrial or manufacturing environments</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to work independently and as part of a team</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Prior experience with preventive maintenance programs</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"> In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary for this role in New Jersey is $31.90 - $44.60. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
