<p> </p> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>About your next Challenge as a CF188 Life Support Equipment and Systems Technician:</strong></span><br><span style="color:black">Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the CF188 Life Support Systems and Equipment Technician is responsible to perform on and off aircraft Aircraft Life Support Systems and Equipment (LSS & ALSE) maintenance activities in support of First and Second line maintenance Units.</span></p> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>What will you do: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color:black">Perform work on aircraft life support systems and equipment (on and off aircraft) in accordance with Canadian Forces Technical Instruction (CFTO), technical drawings, work instructions and other applicable technical references;</li> <li style="color:black">Maintain necessary ALSE-related test and support equipment;</li> <li style="color:black">Keep current with current and new technologies (hardware / software); </li> <li style="color:black">Conduct maintenance activities on related systems, such as:<br>o Aircraft Life Support Equipment;<br>o Aircraft Life Support Systems;<br>o Liquid Oxygen (LOX) System;<br>o Oxygen Storage;<br>o Oxygen Purging;<br>o Fire Extinguishing System;<br>o Ejection System;<br>o Windshield and Canopy System.</li> <li style="color:black">Provide Hand-on support to Military and L3 Harris technicians and Units on a required basic;</li> <li style="color:black">Report any un-airworthy conditions discovered;</li> <li style="color:black">Work in close collaboration with military personnel; and</li> <li style="color:black">Carry out duties as directed by the Site Manager and L3Harris</li> </ul> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>Required Skills and Experiences:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color:black"> <p>Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience;</p> <p>Preferred Additional Skills:</p> </li> <li>Knowledge of DMS;Knowledge of SAP;</li> <li>Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);</li> <li>Endorsement on CF188 (asset); and</li> <li>Experience in LOX storage and replenishment.</li> </ul> <p><span style="color:black"><strong>Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):</strong></span></p> <p><br><span style="color:black">• Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;</span><br><span style="color:black">• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.</span><br><span style="color:black">• Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).</span></p>
