As an active member of the Software Engineering department at L3Harris MAS, you are responsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, deployment of software packages and updates, and network equipment for our external clients. You should have a strong technical background with excellent communication skills working in close collaboration with team members within the organization as well as external partners, subcontractors, and customers.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Provide professional service and support to our clients, both external and on-site</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment and work within a team of like-minded individuals</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Increasing collective team knowledge including being a technical subject matter expert</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Creation and updates on Engineering Enabling Systems technical documentation, processes and procedures</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Managing and administering websites hosted on IIS </span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Configuring and maintaining access rights within Windows and IIS environments </span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Supporting proprietary tools used by the Electronic Publishing team to produce data for various websites (knowledge of XML, XSL-FO, and HTML an asset) </span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Deploying updates to internal and external web platforms </span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Providing application support for client-facing web solutions</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Evaluating and installing computer software, hardware, and operating systems software</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Imaging and technical support for computers, laptops and tablets</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Liaise with client technical support to troubleshoot technical issues</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Experience with creation and modification of batch files</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Knowledge and understanding of XSLT Style sheet an asset</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Experience with Windows software installation authoring tools like InstallShield to package and deploy development applications to our clients</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><strong><u>Qualifications: </u></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•University degree with specialization in information technology or equivalent, or equivalent industry experience </span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Good understanding and experience of the Software Deployment Lifecycle (SDLC) and working with Software Engineering development and deployment teams.</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Understanding of ITIL foundation, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines and asset</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Strong interest and experience in automation including leveraging Artificial Intelligence to improve efficiency</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Excellent communication and collaboration skills</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously</span><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt;color:black">•Excellent learning ability;
