<p> </p> <p><strong>Job Title: Proposals specialist</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Location: 8565 chem. de la Côte-de-Liesse, Montréal, QC</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Schedule: Day Shift</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary Range: 62 500$ - 112 500$</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>About your next</strong><strong> Challenge as a Proposals Specialist</strong></p> <p><strong>What will you do: </strong></p> <ul> <li> Analyze customer requirements and work alongside Subject Matter Experts (SME) in order to propose a high-level solution for naval controls;</li> <li>Define statement of work for internal SME estimation;</li> <li>Draft technical proposals;</li> <li>Requirements analysis to ensure compliance to customer requirements;</li> <li>Estimate and consolidate material costs;</li> <li>Prepare specifications for potential subcontractors;</li> <li>Manage, consolidate and present the technical and cost inputs from subcontractors and internal departments;</li> <li>Present solution and costs to senior management and/or customers;</li> <li>Provide technical support to Marketing;</li> <li>Provide technical marketing support in the field (demonstrations, presentations) with prospective customers and at industry conferences/events</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Required Skills and Experiences:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Science or in Engineering;</li> <li>2-4 years relevant experience</li> <li>Experience with naval industry, preferable;</li> <li>Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); IBM DOORS (an asset);</li> <li>Capable of working under pressure to meet bid deadlines;</li> <li>Autonomous and goal-oriented;</li> <li>Excellent English writing and presentation skills. The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible for registration with the <strong>Controlled Goods Program</strong>;</li> <li>Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada <strong>“Reliability”</strong> status and <strong>Level 2 (Secret)</strong> security clearance.</li> <li>Must be eligible to meet the requirements for <strong>U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)</strong>.</li> </ul>
