He or she will also play a role in optimizing inventory management as well as process optimization. <br><br>He or she will ensure that processes are documented to standardize practices and will also be responsible for developing and implementing performance indicators.<br><br>He or she will work in close collaboration with the warehouse manager and his team but will also work with several different functions (Program, Procurement, Production, and Finance) in order to meet our customers’ requirements (quality / schedule / cost). He or she may also be involved in a multi-site context.<br><br> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><strong><u>Essential Functions: </u></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">With the help of the store manager as well as information available from various sources, identify and implement improvement projects:</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Conduct various analyses and make recommendations to optimize inventory management and storage space;</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Using reports, ensure the quality of inventory data (e.g., validity, accuracy, inventory location, erroneous transactions);</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Lead the development, implementation, and communication of the different processes related to the store as well as the receiving and shipping departments;</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Document the various procedures and task aids related to the processes to ensure compliance in task execution;</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Drive the implementation of improvement initiatives targeting the store as well as the receiving and shipping departments;</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Monitor the different stages of plan execution on a daily basis with the various stakeholders;</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Develop and maintain performance indicators related to the store;</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Communicate project progress to internal/external clients and keep action lists up to date;</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Lead the development and implementation of various material management strategies and processes across all multi‑site operations;</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><strong><u>Qualifications: </u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent qualification;</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in materials management;</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Knowledge of supply chain concepts and processes, as well as inventory management;</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Knowledge of SAP is an asset;</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Very
