In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the program technical development is performed to meet all technical, cost, and schedule requirements and that the final design meets all customer requirements. In addition, Project Engineers are the key technical interfaces to Customers and have the responsibility to interact with Customers at every phase of the program lifecycle.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support planning, execution, and oversight of SEIT activities across the full program lifecycle.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Coordinate system engineering, integration, verification, validation, and test efforts to meet program objectives.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Translate customer and contractual requirements into actionable technical plans and engineering tasks.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Lead cross-functional coordination between systems engineering, design engineering, software, test, manufacturing, quality, and program management.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Track Engineering Performance Metrics and brief program status on a monthly basis to senior engineering leadership</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Track cost and schedule execution and be able to explain any variances and the path to get back to program targets</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ensure program execution and Bid/Proposal development are in accordance with engineering processes and policies</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support development of system architectures, functional decompositions, interface definitions, and verification approaches.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Plan and coordinate integration activities for subsystems, components, and end-item configurations.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Oversee preparation for integration events, lab testing, ground testing, environmental testing, and flight testing as applicable.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ensure verification and validation activities are aligned with requirements and customer expectations.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Manage technical schedules, action items, risks, opportunities, and issue resolution related to SEIT scope.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support requirements traceability between customer requirements, design requirements, verification activities, and certification evidence.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
