This is an on-site position located in Colorado Springs, CO and reports to the Director, Human Resources for Core Functions. As the HR business partner, the selected candidate will be a true strategic partner in driving business results by understanding the client area’s strategic plans and initiatives to provide value added recommendations. The HR Business Partner will collaborate with leadership as well as the overall employee population. This individual will be responsible for understanding and executing on human capital objectives and needs of the business across multiple HR workstreams including staffing, leader development, compensation planning, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, change leadership, employee engagement, inclusion, and retention. If you are energized by translating strategy into action, influencing leadership decisions, and solving meaningful workforce challenges in a dynamic environment — this is the role for you.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Essential Functions:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Partner directly with the Director, Human Resources and leadership team to deliver strategies to drive engagement, talent acquisition and development, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement in support of the annual operating plan (AOP)</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Build strong partnerships with leaders and employees, providing trusted counsel on organizational and employee matters</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Proactively identify challenges, diagnose root causes, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance employee engagement and drive business results</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Use metrics/analytics to drive performance and people decisions regarding employee acquisition, engagement, development, retention, and inclusion</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Collaborate with client groups to design and execute talent strategies aligned with business goals</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Drive strategic talent initiatives in acquisition, development, and succession planning, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Coach and build leadership capabilities to address and resolve both human and technical aspects of the work environment</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Collaborate with HR Center of Excellence, Legal, Ethics, Environmental Health &amp; Safety, and Security</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Participate and/or lead high-impact projects across Spectral Solutions and the HR organization</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Preferred Additional Skills:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business area</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Strong business and HR acumen with proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-initiative; track record of delivering results</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Ability to influence, coach, and consult with all levels of the organization effectively</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Experience driving HR strategy in the following areas: performance management, employee engagement, retention, staffing, compensation, leadership coaching and development and succession planning</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Demonstrated experience delivering on HR metrics and reporting out on progress on a regular basis</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Experience supporting a P&amp;L organization and geographically dispersed teams</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic, collaborative environment</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Project management experience</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Employee relations and investigative experience</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Possesses a high level of professional integrity and attention to detail</span><br><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">• Geographically mobile for continued career growth</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $76,500-$141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
