Temporary Full Time - Investment Planning Counsel (IPC) is one of Canada's leading independent wealth management firms. We’re seeking someone to facilitate learning opportunities to our IPC Advisor Network and internal partners on systems, internal business processes and industry best practices. The optimal candidate can develop and deliver content for eLearning and live sessions; and take the lead to collaborate with internal partners to drive continuous improvement of existing processes. Please note: This is a contract role until December 31st, 2026 with a possibilty to extend further. What you will do <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Deliver training material, methodologies, and procedures in live settings (in-person and virtual), written form (manuals, guides etc.), and eLearning modules, etc.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Support and train internal and external stakeholders on the IPC Technology Suite, business practices, and procedures.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Maintain and understand current business processes within the various business units, and within the investment industry.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Regularly attend and present at IPC Advisor functions as required such as the IPC Fall Conference and Regional Conferences.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Aid internal partners with mapping current business processes that provide a foundation for defining scope and activities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Design training modules and material using needs-based analysis.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Prepare and maintain training and systems deployment material in conjunction with development efforts and strategies.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Periodic content audit review to ensure accuracy of resources.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Continuously strive to effect business process improvements that enhance IPC’s offering.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Manage and report progress against commitments to Business Units on a periodic or as needed basis.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Some administrative functions required to manage your day to day </li> </ul> What you will bring <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Solid understanding of e-learning principles and techniques to apply with adult learners.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Relationship building skills with a commitment to establishing long-term partnerships.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Experience with utilizing KPIs to demonstrate effectiveness of learning programs.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Ability to leverage technology to enhance client experiences.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Ability to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Strong time management competence</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">4+ years of experience within a Training position; financial services industry experience is beneficial.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Undergraduate degree in Business is an asset.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC is an advantage.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Must have general knowledge of adult learning methodologies.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Must be extremely proficient at using the Microsoft 365 suite of products, mainly MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Proficiency in video development and eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, and/or Lectora, etc.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Flexibility to travel within Canada as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:dimgray">Must possess a valid Driver’s license with excellent driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.</li> </ul>- The base salary for this position is between $53,900 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
