About this role
<ul> <li>Support the Group Controlling with financial projects, cost optimisation initiatives, and ad‑hoc analyses to support budget and performance targets</li> <li>Drive and track improvement initiatives (e.g. cost measures, working capital analysis, strategic initiative tracking) through to completion</li> <li>Extract, analyse, and interpret financial data from various systems to support reporting and decision‑making</li> <li>Contribute to strategic financial planning, including business cases, financial models, and support for M&A or investment decisions</li> <li>Support the preparation and accuracy of consolidated</li> <li>Group financial reports for management and external stakeholdersImprove financial systems and processes in collaboration with technical teams, including the use of reporting tools such as Power BI</li> </ul><ul> <li>Degree in Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification</li> <li>Min. 5 years of relevant hands‑on experience in financial controlling and/or accounting within an international organisation</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets</li> <li>Advanced MS Excel skills and strong IT affinity; experience with financial systems and data warehouses is an advantage</li> <li>Understanding of production and operational controlling; Capex controlling experience is beneficial</li> <li>Excellent English skills (written and spoken) and a proactive, flexible, and collaborative working style</li> </ul><ul> <li><strong>Location: </strong>Vienna, Austria (with the option to work partially from Home Office)</li> <li><strong>Start:</strong> as of now</li> <li><strong>Hours: </strong>Fulltime (38.5 h/w)</li> <li><strong>Compensation: </strong>depending on the job-related experience & competencies, ~ 75.000 EUR gross a year (based on the collective bargain agreement of the metal industry if located in Vienna/Austria).</li> </ul>
