<p><span><strong>Role Summary</strong></span></p> <p><span>The main responsibility of the Accounts Payable Intern is to support the Finance team in managing the day-to-day accounts payable operations. This includes assisting in invoice processing, data entry, vendor communications, and reconciliation tasks. The intern will gain practical experience in financial processes and develop a foundational understanding of accounts payable functions in a professional setting.</span></p> <p><span><strong>Professional Competencies (Duties and Tasks)</strong></span></p> <p><span>1. Assist in assuring the accounts payable process is conducted with accuracy and efficiency.</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Assist with daily financial transactions, including data entry and invoice verification</span></li> <li><span>Support the handling of accounts payable for different entities and vendors</span></li> <li><span>Help in reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices under supervision Assist in processing outgoing payments following company financial policies</span></li> <li><span>Support timely and accurate payment processingAid in reconciling the accounts payable ledgerHelp identify and report discrepancies by reviewing vendor statements</span></li> <li><span>Assist with basic reconciliationsContribute to generating simple reports on accounts payable statusHelp maintain relationships with vendors through basic communication</span></li> <li><span>Support in managing vendor data and records </span></li> <li><span>Respond to simple vendor inquiries under guidance</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span>2. General Administrative Support Provide administrative assistance to the team in daily tasks</span></p> <p><span><strong>Desirable experience & qualifications </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field </span></li> <li><span>Internship for a duration above 12 week(s).</span></li> <li><span>Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software is a PLUS. </span></li> </ul>
