About the Role We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team focusing on the Digital Consumer Travel experience. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of how customers book and manage a diverse range of travel products, including flights, stays, activities, and more. You will work in a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and other designers to turn problems and opportunities into meaningful and impactful experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, business objectives and market trends, and systems knowledge. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>You will identify and understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points and use this to define opportunities and problem statements that inform the team’s work.</li> <li>You will lead and support discovery activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover customer needs and validate opportunities.</li> <li>You will work in a fast-paced team of engineers, product managers, and designers to uncover customer problems and deliver impactful solutions across multiple web and mobile platforms.</li> <li>You will consider the business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements in order to produce impactful and valuable solutions.</li> <li>You will creatively translate opportunities into elegant, intuitive, and effective experiences that deliver customer and business value</li> <li>You will rapidly and pragmatically produce concepts and prototypes, understanding when further ideation, testing, or changing directions is needed.</li> <li>You will run experiments frequently to validate your assumptions and optimize your solutions.</li> </ul> Profile Requirements: <ul> <li>You have 3-5 years of product design experience within a consumer focused organization and a proven record of successfully shipped mobile and web experiences.</li> <li>You demonstrate a deep understanding of product strategy and business requirements, with a strong focus on addressing customers’ needs and pain points.</li> <li>You are a design thinker and problem solver at heart, and you consistently strive to gain a deep understanding of the customers, business, and problems you are trying to solve.</li> <li>You are comfortable planning and conducting research from interviews and usability tests to surveys, and you integrate insights into your design process.</li> <li>You have the necessary communication skills to tell a story about your work and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>You possess excellent visual design skills and are proficient in design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools (such as Figma, Framer, Miro). You have experience working with and contributing to a design system.</li> <li>You regularly seek and give constructive feedback. You share and discuss your work openly at every stage without any “big reveals.”</li> <li>You love working with other designers and cross-functional team members and thrive on transparency and effective communication.</li> <li>You have an online portfolio or PDF you can share with us. Please include up to 3 projects that best represent your design thinking process and demonstrate the impact of your work.
