We're seeking an experienced Senior Safety Professional who reflects these values and is ready to serve as the safety authority on major projects across our Sports & Entertainment, Healthcare, Higher Education, and large-scale commercial work.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The Safety Professional is responsible for leading safety on assigned projects, setting the standard, mentoring project teams and junior safety staff, and shaping safety culture from the ground up. This role is critical in anticipating risk, driving proactive planning, enforcing full OSHA compliance, and delivering safe, high-quality outcomes to the owner.<br><br></span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Key Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Serve as the safety authority on assigned projects, independently resolving complex safety matters with project-wide implications.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Drive a proactive safety culture, partnering with project leadership to anticipate hazards and embed safety into planning and execution.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conduct daily safety inspections and audits, identifying and abating hazards, unsafe acts, and violations before they escalate.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Perform and oversee inspections of machines, tools, equipment, vehicles, and safety equipment; hold Competent Person status to determine proper action and disposition.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead safety meetings, orientations, and toolbox talks, and present safety matters in project leadership meetings.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead investigations for all incident types, compiling documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans while ensuring full regulatory and contractual compliance.<br><br></span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Qualifications</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">2+ years of construction safety experience, with a track record of leading safety on complex projects.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510 certification a major plus.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Professional safety certification (CHST, ASP, or CSP) preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead safety programs with minimal oversight.</span></li> </ul>
