In this position you will support the development and commercialization of new and innovative dental products as well as the improvement of existing products. Associates in this role conduct experiments, formulate new chemical compounds, and determine mechanical, chemical and physical properties of prototypes / products. Essential Functions <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Support product development led by senior staff.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Conduct mechanical, chemical, and physical property testing, and possibly biocompatibility testing of dental materials to generate documentation to support and substantiate new products and / or process improvements. Prior hands-on experience with liquid chromatography and scanning electronic microscope highly desired.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Formulate chemical compositions / compounds. Conduct research of organic and inorganic substances including experimentation, data compiling, statistical analysis, and documentation. Maintain concise and accurate records of activities in laboratory notebooks.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provide verbal and written reports of activities to senior chemist / scientist. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
