This could be your student job!</em><br><br><br></p> <div><strong>Your job</strong><br>As a Working Student Inbound Material Planner, you actively support daily operations in a high‑tech production environment by ensuring materials are available in the right quantities and at the right time. You are responsible for your own material scope and suppliers, taking ownership of follow‑up, communication, and issue resolution, with a strong focus on preventing material shortages that could disrupt production. By continuously monitoring material flows, identifying risks early, and collaborating closely with planners, buyers, warehouses, and suppliers, you directly contribute to production continuity and operational stability. At the same time, you gain valuable hands‑on experience in an international environment, work daily with SAP, and develop first‑hand insight into real‑world supply chain decision‑making, giving you a strong head start toward future roles in material planning or supply chain engineering.</div> <div> <p>You operate as a hands‑on Material Planner with responsibility for a defined supplier scope. Your work includes:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Owning and managing an order book for assigned suppliers</li> <li>Actively monitoring delivery confirmations, delays, shortages, and open actions</li> <li>Using SAP and Excel as daily working tools to maintain control and transparency</li> <li>Proactively contacting suppliers to confirm status, clarify issues, and drive actions</li> <li>Coordinating material topics with Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Assembly</li> <li>Clearly documenting status, decisions, and follow‑up actions</li> <li>Identifying and escalating material risks in time to prevent production impact</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your profile<br></strong>We are looking for an Bsc or Msc student in Supply Chain Management or Logistics/Industrial Engineering who has a substantial amount of time available for a working student position, for example during a gap year or in the transition period between a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. In this role, you gain relevant hands-on work experience in the field you are studying. During the entire period, you must remain enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences.
