We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto. Both campuses were accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in December 2002, and currently hold the accreditation by SACS, now as a division of AdvancED. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 private IB day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English. The San Agustin campus school is located at west of San Pedro Garza García and Valle Alto campus school is located at south of Monterrey. </span></span></span></p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div><p><strong><span style="color:darkcyan">ELEMENTARY HOMEROOM TEACHER</span></strong></p> <p>Elementary Homeroom Teacher is responsible to reach the teaching/learning objectives of all subjects taught in English; Language Arts, Math, Science, Art and Social Studies.</p> <p>Elementary Homeroom Teacher may also educate students using a variety of interactive instructional strategies in order to motivate and promote lifelong learning.</p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Experience</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><span style="color:black">Skills: Planning, Organization, Classroom Management, Leadership and Initiative. Ability to Communicate in English Fluently.</span><br></span></p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><span style="color:black">Knowledge:Content Knowledge: Certification that Recognizes Expertise in Elementary Level Content in the Areas of Language Arts, Math, General Earth Science, Health and Social Studies.</span><br></span></p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><span style="color:black">Pedagogic Knowledge: Certification that Recognizes Expertise in Elementary Level Teaching Strategies, Group Control and Classroom Management.</span><br></span></p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><span style="color:black">Experience: A minimum of two years teaching experience.</span><br></span></p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><span style="color:black">Education: BA in Education and/or Teacher Certification</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <p>Plan, design and implement various teaching strategies and methods according to the age group and curriculum objectives (Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, Art and Social Studies).</p> <p>Organize learning resources and activities to enrich the teaching/learning process.</p> <p>Evaluate, monitor, record and report student progress providing students and parents with appropriate feedback.</p> <p>Develop personally and professionally via the Professional Growth Plan process.</p> <p>Contribute and behave according to San Roberto’s mission and beliefs.</p> <p>A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
