We are looking for passionate teachers who give their students hope for the future and can help them grow and be better than their previous best.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsabilities</H2> </div><div><h2> </h2> <h2>Classroom Teaching Responsibilities (80%)</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Establish engaging, inquiry-driven classroom environments aligned with the IB philosophy and the school’s mission</p> </li> <li> <p>Plan and deliver transdisciplinary units within the PYP framework</p> </li> <li> <p>Model and promote the IB Learner Profile attributes</p> </li> <li> <p>Assess and respond to student progress using a range of strategies</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare lessons, assessments, and reports aligned with IB and school requirements</p> </li> <li> <p>Use the learning management system effectively</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents</p> </li> <li> <p>Support students’ wellbeing and collaborate with Programme Heads and the School Counsellor when needed</p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2> </h2> <h2>Team Responsibilities (15%)</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate in unit planning, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary projects</p> </li> <li> <p>Share resources, expertise, and best practices with colleagues</p> </li> <li> <p>Engage in professional development related to IB pedagogy and current educational trends</p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2> </h2> <h2>School-wide Responsibilities (5%)</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a Homeroom Teacher</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to a positive and supportive school culture</p> </li> <li> <p>Undertake cover lessons and supervision duties as required</p> </li> <li> <p>Attend meetings (staff, subject, interdisciplinary, homeroom) as scheduled</p> </li> <li> <p>Fulfil supervision duties (lunch, arrival/dismissal, bus, break, etc.)</p> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Required Skills/Abilities</H2> </div><div><h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area from an accredited institution</p> </li> <li> <p>Recognized teaching qualification</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience and/or training in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) preferred</p> </li> <li> <p>Valid right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid work visa)</p> </li> <li> <p>Clean and satisfactory police background checks</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent English proficiency (CEFR level C1–C2)</p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Experience</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of two years of recent and relevant teaching experience in a comparable international or IB school environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong understanding of the IB PYP framework, including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Transdisciplinary learning</p> </li> <li> <p>Concepts, knowledge, skills, and action</p> </li> <li> <p>IB Learner Profile</p> </li> <li> <p>Approaches to Learning (ATL)</p> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <p>Proven ability to design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based units aligned with the PYP Programme of Inquiry</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with formative and summative assessment practices within the IB framework</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs</p> </li> <li> <p>Effective integration of digital tools to enhance learning</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong planning and organisational skills</p> </li> </ul></div></div></div>
