A Workshop Engineer I is a critical player in ensuring proper planning and execution of post-manufacturing services to our customers. A Workshop Engineer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: team&apos;s technical resource, repair guidance on damaged equipment, workshop instructions and on-site equipment support for advanced products, authoring and approval of technical documentation, customer interface, RCA resolution, product maintenance, upgrade/conversion, repair, and refurbishment.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>No direct reports, but often oversees the work of one or more professionals or technicians on a project basis.</li> <li>Participates and manages standardization/improvement projects.</li> <li>Owns and maintains task lists.</li> <li>Develops strong relationships with the shop technicians, customer, Customer Service team and Technical Services Engineering team.</li> <li>Analyzes and interprets data independently. Anticipates potential problems and takes preventative action.</li> <li>Approves work instructions and engineering documentation to mobilize, refurbish, upgrade/convert, maintain, and preserve equipment.</li> <li>Supports Field non-conformance investigations, RCAs, and SN resolution.</li> <li>Consults with other departments on equipment designs and questions. Identifies root cause of problems. Develops alternative solutions and communicates associated benefits and risks.</li> <li>Participates in product and task standardization projects.</li> <li>Shares opinions, ideas and resources with others to achieve common goals; fosters teamwork and collaboration, builds trust.</li> <li>Interprets, applies and trains others on relevant policies &amp; procedures.</li> <li>Ability to independently establish work tasks in order to successfully meet expectations.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">You are meant for this job if:</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Strong technical background specifically with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.</li> <li>Process oriented and drives standardization.</li> <li>Strong problem solving capabilities.</li> <li>Highly motivated and self-driven.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Strong computer proficiency with applicable software applications in related field.</li> <li>BS in Engineering preferably in Mechanical or Electrical</li> <li>Capable of producing standard technical product documentation</li> <li>Capable of solving technical issues</li> <li>Knowledgeable in how changes influence system engineering cost</li> <li>Knowledgeable of industry standards and quality requirements</li> <li>Capable of leading internal meetings</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Skills</H2> </div><div></div></div></div>
