<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Welding Engineer </H2> </div><div><p>As a Welding Engineer you will join the Materials and Welding Team which is a part of the global TechnipFMC Core Technologies network responsible for providing the best in class Subject Matter Experts support for Oil & Gas subsea production worldwide. The Materials and Welding team provides expertise in materials engineering, welding, corrosion protection and NDT. </p> <p>This role will require working from the office 4 days per week. </p> <p>If you are interested, please submit your CV in English. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Responsibilities </H2> </div><div><p>• Acting as a global Subject Matter Expert in the welding area <br>• Writing and optimizing technical specifications in line with contractual documents and scope of work<br>• Reviewing suppliers welding documentation (PQR, WPS, Weld Plan, Welding Books)<br>• Supporting in-house welding activities – planning qualifications, technical support<br>• Supporting engineering teams and ongoing projects with welding expertise<br>• Continuous support of strategic welding suppliers to meet all specifications and to perform zero defect welding jobs<br>• Introducing LEAN document management <br>• Developing requirements and internal standards<br>• Performing technical audits<br>• Participating in design meetings and reviews</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Requirements </H2> </div><div><p>• BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or similar<br>• Experience in welding engineer position<br>• IWE certification (IWI certification will be an additional asset)<br>• Broad knowledge about welding processes<br>• Knowledge of industry standards for welding<br>• Very good foundation of engineering and materials science <br>• Practical knowledge of MS Office <br>• Fluency in English<br>• Good communication skills and team-player spirit<br>• Willingness to travel occasionally</p></div></div></div>
