<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Purpose</H2> </div><div><p><strong>We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel!</strong></p> <p>For our Senior Legal Counsel in Norway, we are looking for someone to act as a centre of excellence for general legal business operations support, predominantly focusing on Norwegian law matters but with scope to expand to cover other geographies. The role includes the management of local dispute resolution/litigation/arbitration, local outside counsel and local legal strategy; the provision of local corporate, labor and employment legal advice; real estate/facilities/regulatory support; maritime law matters; and local crisis management representation. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div><p style="margin:0.0cm;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">• Provide daily advice and counsel on legal operations matters<br>• Manage, translate and implement legal policies and standards<br>• Provide local legal and regulatory expert services to operations and functions<br>• Interact and consult with relevant Legal GBU(s)/REMS as the centre of excellence for local law<br>• Manage dispute resolution at the local level, including litigation and arbitration and major disputes in collaboration with the Regional Senior Legal Manager for Northern Europe & Middle East<br>• Implement local Legal strategies for operations and establishments<br>• Manage the relationships with outside counsels in relevant countries in collaboration with the Regional Senior Legal Manager for Northern Europe & Middle East, People & Culture and other functions.
