The position plays a critical role in promoting a positive safety culture as well as developing, implementing and adminstering effective health, safety and environmental programs at the facility.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>HSE professional focused on promoting and supporting an HSE culture from within by leading the implementation of core HSE programs, policies, and initiatives</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Leads HSE incident investigations and reports, as needed; may accompany an injured employee for treatment and medical evaluation</li> <li>Advises on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, environmental and occupational diseases</li> <li>Assists with case management and/or following up on occupational injuries/illnesses</li> <li>Implements changes to working practices that reduce risk and comply with legislation</li> <li>Coaches with respect to JSAs, at-risk activities, unsafe conditions, and safety improvement opportunities</li> <li>Creates and modifies HSE policies, processes, and procedures</li> <li>Environnemental management; SWPPP, RCRA, SPCC, etc.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">You are meant for this job if:</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>At least 10 years of related experience</li> <li>BA/BS degree in related field</li> <li>In depth knowledge of Local HSE regulations, and client specifications i.e. OSHA , BSEE, SEMS, TCEQ, EPA etc.</li> <li>Ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures</li> <li>Possess thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted internal business processes and procedures</li> <li>Ability to identify deviations from standards</li> <li>Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills related to functional areas and understanding impact to the overall business</li> <li>BCSP preferred</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints</li> <li>Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities</li> <li>Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Skills</H2> </div><div><div>HSE - Health, Safety and Environment</div></div></div></div>
