You are comfortable working at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and application development, and you enjoy enabling other teams to move faster through well-designed platforms and abstractions.You bring both a <strong>builder</strong> and <strong>operator</strong> mindset: you design scalable systems, automate everything possible, and take ownership of platform reliability in production.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>For this role we can offer B2B contract (remote) or Offer of employment/Umowa o pracę (4 days working from office, mandatory)</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Build and maintain core platform components (SSO, Access Management, clusters, networking, CI/CD, observability).</li> <li>Own Terraform modules, baseline configurations, and guardrails for distributed teams.</li> <li>Design and evolve platform “golden paths” — secure defaults, templates, and standards.</li> <li>Maintain platform IaC (Terraform, modules, state design, multi-account governance).</li> <li>Integrate with team-owned CDK stacks through stable platform contracts.</li> <li>Lead evolution of platform abstraction layers and service catalogs.</li> <li>Design and manage multi-account AWS landing zone (Orgs, SCPs, permissions boundaries).</li> <li>Own developer onboarding patterns (IAM SSO access, automation, pipelines).</li> <li>Build safe cross-account deployment workflows (GitHub OIDC, least privilege).</li> <li>Design and operate ECS and EKS clusters used by hundreds of services.</li> <li>Establish best practices for container execution, networking, autoscaling</li> <li>Manage central networking components (VPC, TGW, Route53).</li> <li>Ensure secure east–west communication between workloads in different accounts.</li> <li>Provide self-service tools and templates for teams (pipelines, service definitions, actions).</li> <li>Abstract platform complexity to enable fast and safe deployments for all teams.</li> <li>Own documentation, workshops, patterns, and architectural guidance.</li> <li>Operate and evolve platform-wide logging, metrics, and tracing systems.</li> <li>Ensure operational standards for platform components.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">You are meant for this job if:</H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="list-style-type:none"> <ul> <li>Strong experience as a <strong>Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer</strong> operating production systems at scale</li> <li>Proven +4 years hands-on expertise with <strong>AWS</strong>, especially multi-account environments and organizational governance</li> <li>Deep understanding of <strong>Infrastructure as Code</strong>, particularly <strong>Terraform</strong> (modules, state management, guardrails)</li> <li>Solid experience running and operating <strong>EKS and/or ECS</strong> in production</li> <li>Strong background in <strong>CI/CD</strong>, GitHub-based workflows, and secure deployment patterns (OIDC, least privilege)</li> <li>Experience designing <strong>developer platforms</strong> and internal tooling for self-service and standardization</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>cloud security</strong>, IAM, SCPs, permissions boundaries, and secure networking</li> <li>Operational excellence mindset: monitoring, logging, alerting, SLOs, and incident handling</li> </ul> <p>In addition to infrastructure and operations, you have <strong>hands-on development experience</strong>, allowing you to collaborate closely with application teams and design pragmatic platform contracts:</p> <ul> <li>Professional experience developing services in one or more of: <ul> <li><strong>Java / Kotlin (Spring Boot)</strong></li> <li><strong>Node.js / TypeScript</strong></li> </ul> </li> <li>Familiarity with modern API design, service runtime concerns, and container-based workloads</li> <li>Ability to read, debug, and contribute to application code when needed</li> </ul> </li> </ul></div></div></div>
