<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Purpose</H2> </div><div><p>Senior software/automation engineer responsible for configuring, versioning and validating industrial automation software, supporting FAT and field commissioning, creating CI/CD pipelines and collaborating across agile squads.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Description</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Configure industrial automation software and maintain version control for configurations and libraries.</li> <li>Create and maintain build, test and deployment pipelines.</li> <li>Execute bench tests, FAT, smoke, integration and unit tests.</li> <li>Support plant commissioning/startup and provide field support as required.</li> <li>Produce and maintain configuration and release documentation in company tools.</li> <li>Participate in sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives; collaborate with development, QA and operations.</li> <li>Rotate across squads and provide occasional on-call support.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">You are meant for this job if:</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><strong>3–5 years of experience</strong> in industrial automation, control systems, or project engineering with hands-on software configuration and field commissioning.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in <strong>control system tools</strong> like UCOS, InControl, SmartTool (or equivalents), and <strong>version control systems</strong> such as Git.</li> <li>Solid understanding of <strong>industrial communication protocols</strong> including Ethernet/IP, OPC UA/DA, PROFINET, Modbus, and CANBus.</li> <li>Practical experience in <strong>software testing</strong>, instrumentation, I/Os, sensors, actuators, and plant control logic.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>agile methodologies</strong> (Scrum/Kanban) and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.</li> <li>Bonus skills include <strong>programming</strong> (Python, MATLAB, C/C++, Java), <strong>SCADA/OPC platforms</strong>, and working in <strong>cloud/virtual environments</strong> (AWS, VMWare, Linux).</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>quality and organizational frameworks</strong> such as 5S and ITIL is a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Posting information</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Work hours: standard business hours with occasional on-call or field support.</li> <li>Travel required: occasional to plants and international sites; estimated 25%.</li> <li><span>Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction.
