You’ll oversee supplier performance, maintain accurate purchase orders, support SAP/PFEP updates, and ensure materials are available to meet production needs.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Place and manage purchase orders; ensure accurate pricing and delivery dates</li> <li>Review shortages, expedite materials, and maintain inventory levels</li> <li>Monitor supplier performance and support supplier transitions</li> <li>Resolve invoice issues and review engineering changes</li> <li>Support SAP & PFEP systems and participate in supply chain improvement projects</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>What you bring</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> <li>5 years purchasing/supply chain experience</li> <li>Intermediate SAP & Excel skills</li> <li>Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Additional Info</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Hybrid/onsite work; overtime and business travel as needed</li> <li>Commitment to safety, quality, and ISO/FDA compliance required</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What Will Make You Successful</strong></p> <p> </p> <div> <ul> <li>Leverage my SAP/Excel expertise to ensure accurate, timely purchasing, maintain optimal inventory levels, and proactively resolve shortages to keep production running smoothly.</li> <li>Build strong supplier relationships, monitor performance closely, and identify cost and quality improvements to drive value across multi-site operations.</li> <li>Apply analytical thinking and continuous improvement practices to manage MRP-driven demand, support PFEP processes, and contribute to supply chain efficiency and reliability.</li> </ul> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why KARL STORZ?</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Join KARL STORZ and be part of a team creating medical innovations that truly make a difference.
