In this hands-on position, you will ensure alignment between physical inventory and system data while helping drive efficient logistics operations.</p> <p> </p> <p>You’ll perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, continuous improvement (LEAN) environment.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Shift</strong><strong>:</strong> Monday to Friday, 11:30AM-8:00PM</p> <p><strong>Work Environment:</strong> On-site logistics/warehouse setting</p> <hr> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Perform cycle counts across inventory locations, including third-party vendors, to ensure accuracy</li> <li>Process inventory adjustments in SAP and maintain alignment between system and physical inventory</li> <li>Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions</li> <li>Review inventory reports and monitor variances to proactively identify issues</li> <li>Support audits and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality standards</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams to improve inventory strategies and operational efficiency</li> </ul> <hr> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>What You Bring</strong></h2> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>1–2 years of experience in logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environments</li> <li>Foundational knowledge of inventory control processes (cycle counting, receiving, adjustments)</li> <li>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and data accuracy</li> <li>Effective communication skills with a customer-focused, collaborative approach</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with SAP, WMS, or other inventory/ERP systems</li> <li>Exposure to continuous improvement tools such as 5S or Kaizen</li> <li>Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes</li> <li>Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices</li> </ul> <hr> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>What Will Make You Successful</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes</li> <li>High level of accuracy and accountability when managing inventory data</li> <li>Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence</li> <li>Strong collaboration skills when working cross-functionally</li> </ul> <hr> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>Why KARL STORZ?</strong></h2> <p>Join KARL STORZ and be part of a team dedicated to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
