<p><strong>Manager, Supply Planning</strong> <strong>Supply Chain | Inventory &amp; Vendor Management</strong></p> <p>Drive service excellence and supply chain performance for a global leader in medical innovation.</p> <p>Pay range: $82,400 - $107,100</p> <p>KARL STORZ is seeking a Manager of Supply Planning to lead finished goods supply planning activities across our active product portfolio. In this high-impact role, you&apos;ll guide a team of Buyer/Planners to maintain optimal stock coverage, deliver the highest level of customer service, and meet the company&apos;s inventory and financial goals — ensuring the Right Product is in the Right Place, at the Right Time, at the Right Cost.</p> <p><strong>What You&apos;ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketing, and Product Management to develop aligned demand and supply plans</li> <li>Recruit, hire, and develop a team of Buyer/Planners, fostering continuous growth and skill development</li> <li>Oversee purchase order creation with suppliers, factoring in lead times, volume discounts, and order handling efficiencies</li> <li>Monitor demand patterns and manage supplier communication to expedite or de-expedite deliveries as needed</li> <li>Partner with Transportation, Warehouse, and Quality teams to resolve shipment delays, receiving discrepancies, and non-conforming product issues</li> <li>Communicate product availability updates and lifecycle management decisions to Marketing and Product Management</li> <li>Support Accounts Payable in researching and resolving invoice discrepancies</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service levels, and waste reduction</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with FDA regulations (21CFR820) and KARL STORZ&apos;s Quality Management System</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and transition fluidly between topics in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Above-average written and verbal communication skills across cross-functional and multicultural teams</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office Suite</li> <li>Familiarity with MRP systems; SAP experience is highly desirable</li> <li>Solid financial and business acumen with experience managing inventory investment and purchasing decisions</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>4–6 years of experience in supply chain, supply planning, or a directly transferable field</li> <li>Bachelor&apos;s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline preferred</li> <li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered</li> <li>Up to 10% travel required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join KARL STORZ?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead a team of 7 exempt employees within a globally respected medical device organization</li> <li>Broad decision-making authority across purchasing and inventory management</li> <li>A collaborative culture built on quality, service excellence, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Ongoing development opportunities across a dynamic, cross-functional supply chain environment<br><br><br>#LI-KP1</li> </ul>
