We are currently seeking a Mine Ventilation Technician to join our Underground Mining team at Tropicana Gold Mine, reporting to the Underground Mining Engineer – Projects and Infrastructure. This role is based at Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, with direct flights provided to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie. About the Role <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitor the underground ventilation system to ensure a safe working atmosphere for all employees</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Audit ventilation infrastructure to ensure compliance with approved ventilation plans</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Prepare and distribute ventilation plans</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide ventilation-specific input into mine plans and schedules</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Complete statutory ventilation surveys of the primary and secondary ventilation networks</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manage the secondary fan register and arrange maintenance and change-outs as required</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist with underground infrastructure and project work as directed</li> </ul> About You People are at the heart of everything we do.
