You will be responsible for securing product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance in a highly demanding environment. <br>This position is part of a global organization and operates within a matrix structure, reporting both to the Site Manager and relevant Global/Regional Quality leadership. You will lead a local quality team and work cross‑functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Principal Accountabilities </strong></p> <div> <p>As part of the Quality team you’ll be responsible for: </p> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Leading the site’s Quality function, including quality systems, audits, laboratory operations, and customer quality management. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Ensuring compliance with food‑contact packaging requirements (e.g., BRCGS Packaging, GMP, ISO standards, local legal requirements). </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Driving continuous improvement in quality performance, scrap reduction, and process stability across all injection‑molding operations. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Leading internal and external audits, including customer audits and certification audits. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Managing customer complaints, implementing root cause analysis, and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Overseeing change control, deviation management, and product release processes. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Monitoring and analyzing quality KPIs and reporting performance within the matrix organization. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Coaching and developing the quality team and fostering a strong quality culture across the entire site. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Collaborating with global and regional quality functions to implement standards, harmonize processes, and support group‑wide initiatives. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Ensuring that all quality‑related training, documentation, and regulatory requirements are up to date and effectively implemented. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications/Requirements</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <div> <div> <p>Education </p> </div> </div> <div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related technical field. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>Skills / Experience </p> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>5+ years of experience in Quality Management within manufacturing, preferably food‑contact packaging or injection molding / plastics processing (PP preferred). </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., BRCGS Packaging, ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP). </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Proven experience leading audits and managing customer relationships. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Demonstrated ability to analyze process data, drive root cause analysis, and lead structured problem‑solving (e.g., 8D, PDCA, Six Sigma). </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions and regions. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>Personality / Attributes </p> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Structured, analytical, and highly detail‑oriented. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across departments. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, 24/7 production environment. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>Additional Requirements </p> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Occasional travel may be required within the group (regional or global). </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Ability to work on‑site full‑time in a manufacturing environment. </p> </li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div> <div> <p> </p> <p>#LI-MK1</p> </div> </div>
