<div> <p><strong>Job Overview:</strong><br>The HR Director for Mexico will play a strategic leadership role in aligning talent, organizational capabilities, and structures with the company’s medium- and long-term business strategy. This position is responsible for building a competitive and sustainable total rewards framework, including compensation, benefits, culture, and employee experience. The role also ensures strong labor relations practices that promote a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment, supporting both operational excellence and employee engagement. <strong>We are considering Guadalajara or Mexico City as the base location for this position.</strong></p> <hr> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner with the local leadership team to define and execute the overarching business strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities and long-term growth objectives.</li> <li>Develop and lead the country HR strategy, delivering an integrated and high-impact HR function that directly supports business results.</li> <li>Design and implement organizational structures that enable agility and scalability in line with evolving business needs.</li> <li>Build and drive a comprehensive Talent strategy, covering acquisition, development, and retention to secure a strong pipeline of future-ready talent.</li> <li>Lead the Compensation and Benefits agenda, ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.</li> <li>Champion a high-performance culture and engagement strategy, fostering an inclusive and productive work environment.</li> <li>Define and oversee Labor Relations strategy, ensuring effective union engagement, risk mitigation, and compliance with labor regulations.</li> <li>Establish and maintain strong external partnerships with government entities, unions, industry associations, and key stakeholders.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Challenges:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing a complex, multi-site organizational structure across Mexico.</li> <li>Navigating relationships with strong and diverse labor unions.</li> <li>Addressing a dynamic and competitive labor market with high turnover rates.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Skills & Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business priorities into effective HR initiatives.</li> <li>Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on driving vision, purpose, and results.</li> <li>Ability to set priorities and execute in complex, fast-paced environments.</li> <li>Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at all organizational levels.</li> <li>Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering business value.</li> <li>Capability to foster innovation and drive continuous improvement.</li> <li>Demonstrated success in attracting, developing, and retaining talent.</li> <li>Ability to engage, inspire, and lead high-performing teams.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience in senior HR leadership roles.</li> <li>Strong experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Compensation & Benefits.</li> <li>Solid knowledge of Mexican Labor Law and labor relations practices.</li> <li>Advanced level of English (required).</li> <li>Willingness to travel within Mexico.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Education & Certification:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Master’s degree preferred.</li> </ul> </div>
