The role ensures that technical solutions meet business objectives, comply with internal and external standards, and support the company’s strategic goals in innovation, quality, and operational efficiency. </p> </div> <div> </div> <p> </p> <p><strong>Principal Accountabilities </strong></p> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Lead and manage technical development projects related to new products, processes, and equipment. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Ensure that research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standards. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales to align technical development with business needs. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Support the formulation of business plans and budgets for product and process development initiatives. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Analyze quality and safety test results to ensure compliance with internal specifications and external regulatory standards. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Monitor product development outcomes to ensure technical, functional, cost, and timing targets are met. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and translate insights into actionable innovations. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Organize and deliver technical presentations to customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>May be responsible for managing the product regulatory approval process in collaboration with relevant authorities and internal compliance teams. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> </div> <p><strong>Formal Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <div> <p>Qualifications: </p> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Minimum 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles within manufacturing or process industries. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Proven experience in product and process development, including project management and cross-functional collaboration. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Strong understanding of engineering standards, product lifecycle management, and regulatory requirements. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Experience in an international business environment is an advantage. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written). </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <p>Competencies & Skills: </p> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Innovation & Technical Expertise: Strong ability to drive technical innovation and apply engineering principles to solve complex challenges. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Project Management: Skilled in planning, executing, and delivering development projects on time and within budget. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical initiatives with business strategy and customer needs. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, testing methodologies, and performance evaluation. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Communication & Presentation: Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including customers and stakeholders. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Leadership & Collaboration: Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. </p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of product compliance and certification processes relevant to the plastic/process industry. </p> </li> </ul> </div> </div> <div> </div> <div> <p>#LI-MK1</p> </div>
