We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources. We have an opportunity at our new Thameside factility at Tilbury Docks an Operations Manager to join our team working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide operational leadership to the team at Thameside, with line management responsibility for Shift Team Leaders and other members of site staff. Working in conjunction with the site leadership team comprising of the Safety and Compliance Manager and the Engineering Manager, you will drive safety, compliance, staff engagement and best in class performance. Through constant review, you’ll ensure that a cost-effective and high-quality service is consistently carried out across site, identifying opportunities for business improvement and monitoring site KPI’s. As a strong and motivational leader, you’ll manage and develop all ERF employees in order to maximise their potential to themselves and the business.
