We have a new opportunity for a Technical Compliance Lead to join our team, based in Scotland, working 37.5 hour per week on a 2 year FTC We encourage all applicants to apply as soon as possible as we may close vacancies early if we receive a high number of applications. As our Technical Compliance Lead, you will be responsible for the management and monitoring of environmental systems, procedures and systems of work at regional level. You'll be responsible for maintaining compliance with Viridor environmental permits, licenses and relevant management systems. Implementing policy and procedure to deliver a highly compliant, quality led environment with safety at its core, you'll actively monitor, maintain and manage environmental monitoring and reporting to ensure best practice and avoidance of incidents and permit non-compliance. Working closely with the Plant Managers and site teams in your region, you'll support the development of the plant to maintain high productivity whilst ensuring a no compromise approach with regards to environmental compliance at all times. What are we looking for? <ul style="margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px"> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">A hands on environmental professional with experience in industrial settings. Experience of an energy from waste facility would be advantageous and preferable</li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Relevant experience within a highly regulated and compliance focussed environment </li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Strong leadership skills to lead and influence a team. Able to work with the Management Teams to embed a compliance focussed culture within complex workplaces </li> <li style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0px;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Experience of permitted/regulated activities and processes within controlled emissions environments.
