We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources. We have an opportunity in Dunbar for a Shift Technician to join our team working 40 hours per week, on a 5 week shift pattern, to include nights. The salary for this role will be £50,465 per year, inclusive of shift allowance, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits. Working as part of a team, your duties will include plant and equipment process changes to optimise process performance, as well as process and equipment fault diagnosis and rectification along with system isolations. </div> <div> </div> <div> You’ll take responsibility for DCS operation and alarm handling, as well as the operation of the ERF and boiler chemistry. When updating the shift log, the Shift Technician will include plant and process changes, and ensure a diligent shift handover takes place so the following shift is well-informed.
