Work Environment & Travel: This is a hybrid position based out of the Home Office in Jackson, MI, requiring onsite presence approximately 2 days per week, with the ability to flex based on business needs. What will you do as a Financial Analyst II – Market/ Distribution Accounts at Dawn Foods? <ul> <li style="background-color:white;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Perform standard & ad-hoc reporting for business partners. Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">A high school diploma or GED is required</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of financial experience. <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Will accept 6 years of relevant financial experience in lieu of a degree. </li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Experience with P&L management, financial modeling, commercial operations, supply chain, and accounting is highly preferred.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Understanding of commercial business with experience supporting Sales or Marketing teams through financial insights.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Understanding of pricing strategy, margin analysis, and profitability improvement.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Strong attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Ability to connect financial results to business drivers and explain what is causing changes in performance.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Excellent written and verbal communication skills to have the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for non-Finance partners.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Self-starter with the ability to provide financial support, handling multiple tasks within an open and interactive environment.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Hands-on Excel experience, comfortable analyzing large data sets, utilizing pivot tables & charts, creating graphs, lookups, IF statements, etc. </li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">SAP and Oracle experience desired.</li> </ul> Physical Demands & Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
