The Quality Technician is responsible for identifying quality issues, reporting them to the appropriate person and initiating the corrective action process. What Does It Take to be a Quality Assurance Technician I at Dawn Foods? Ensures the products meet all specifications. Records all information and reports any discrepancies. </li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Monitors and checks the calibration of measuring equipment and the operation of metal detectors to ensure proper operation. Reports any problems immediately.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Performs formula audits and process audits, documents audit results.</li> <li style="line-height:normal;background-color:white;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Monitors adherence to all food safety and quality programs including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices and the Food Safety Plan.
