<p>Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Civil/Structural CAD Designer to join our growing team! </p><p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style=""><strong>CAD Designer (Civil/Structural)</strong></span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">We are seeking a CAD Designer with experience supporting engineering and construction projects through 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and construction document development.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">This role partners with engineers to deliver Issued for Bid (IFB) and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawing packages across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical projects.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style=""><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">Develop and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Autodesk tools</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">Produce construction documents, bid sets, and detailed design packages</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">Create layouts, schematics, grading plans, and structural details</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">Coordinate with engineering, type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">Associate degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, or Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience)</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">3+ years of CAD drafting/design experience in a project-based environment</span></li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">Strong proficiency in civil and Structural 3D modeling</span></li> <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="circle"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%"><span style="">AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, or The actual starting salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including your skills, experience, and office/market location.
