Our application ingests and processes <strong>tens of millions of messages per day</strong> and provides critical <strong>books and records</strong> and <strong>surveillance </strong>capabilities for enterprise clients in regulated environments.This role is ideal for an engineer with several years of experience in <strong>enterprise application development</strong> who is comfortable working across the stack and has strong, hands-on experience with <strong>AWS-native architectures</strong>.You will work on designing, building, and scaling distributed systems while collaborating closely with product, architecture, and operations teams.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>What You’ll Do: </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Design, develop, and maintain backend services using <strong>Java</strong> in a distributed, cloud-native environmentBuild and enhance front-end features using <strong>Angular. </strong>Develop and optimize data models and queries using <strong>SQL</strong> and NoSQL data stores. Work extensively with <strong>AWS services</strong> to build scalable, reliable, and secure systems. Help evolve and scale our architecture to support a growing client base and increasing message volumes. Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows for high-volume message ingestion and processing.Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system reliability and performance improvements</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Required Qualifications </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">3–6 years of experience in <strong>enterprise software development. </strong>Strong experience with <strong>Java</strong> (Spring or similar frameworks preferred). Experience building front-end applications with <strong>Angular </strong>Solid understanding of <strong>SQL</strong> and relational database design. Hands-on experience with <strong>AWS</strong>, including several of the following:ECS / FargateLambdaSNS (or other event/messaging services) DynamoDB OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch). Experience designing or working with <strong>distributed systems</strong> and high-through put applications . Understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization Comfortable working in a CI/CD-driven environment</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Preferred Qualifications </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience working on <strong>high-volume ingestion pipelines</strong> or messaging systems. Familiarity with <strong>books and records</strong>, <strong>supervision</strong>, or other compliance-driven systems. Experience with containerized workloads and microservices architectures. Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
