Shape and influence policy and regulatory changes and represent the company in high-level engagements with government agencies and industry associations. Build and maintain relationships with payers, regulators, and policy makers to ensure optimal access for the BioNTech portfolio. Drive successful submissions and negotiations through both CHI (private insurance market) and NRDL.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;color:darkcyan"><strong>Your main responsibilities are:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Deliver strategies for priority projects (issues and opportunities) to ensure that BioNTech has a strong share of voice among external stakeholders, governmental and others.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Coordinate key projects related to the central government department like SFDA, SDRC, MOH, MOFCOM etc.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including NHSA, NMPA, and other government agencies in order to shape and influence evolving healthcare policy and regulatory changes.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Represent the company in national policy forums, industry associations, and public-private partnerships.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Monitor and deliver analysis on relevant policies and regulations to manage opportunities and risks for the business.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Provide strategic insights to global teams on China’s national and regional healthcare landscape from a policy and access perspective.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Provide China-specific market access support within local alliance management, global and China innovation hubs, and governance forums.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Lead the development and execution of local market access strategies for pipeline and in-line products aligned to global price and access strategy.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Lead submissions, negotiations, and pricing strategies for both private insurance market (CHI) and NRDL and pull through into hospital listings.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:darkcyan"><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><strong>W</strong></span><strong style="font-size:10.0pt">hat you have to offer:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">10+ years in Government Affairs, Policy, and Market Access roles in the pharma or biotech sectors. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience working within Global biotech and/or large pharmaceutical companies. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Deep understanding of China’s healthcare system including the healthcare policy, regulatory and market access environment. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Experience of interacting and engaging effectively with senior government officials and building relationships or coalitions with broad range of stakeholders (government, media, NGO, thought leaders and patient groups etc.) </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Proven experience of demonstrating leadership and positive impact on public policy developments including successfully advocating public policy positions for China and complex organizations. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Mainland China experience. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Fluent in Mandarin and English. </span></li> <li style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">BSc in Life sciences and/or Health Economics with advanced degree preferred. </span></li> </ul> </div><p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="color:#3c9673"><b>Your Benefits:</b></span></p> <p> </p> <p>BioNTech is committed to the wellbeing of our team members and offers a variety of benefits in support of our diverse employee base.
