<p class="MsoCommentText"><span style=""><span style=""><b><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Job Summary:</span></span></b> </span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">This position is located in Ravenswood, WV and supports the Production (Casting, Plate, Hot Line, & Coil) units within the facility. The role primarily provides engineering and technical services to internal clients including Maintenance, Quality, and Production. This position acts as the technical lead on projects with budgets up to $1M and contributes to projects with budgets up to $50M. The role impacts operational efficiency, asset availablity, and capital expenditure. The role has a significant accountability for outage budgets and cost control. The candidate will typically work on 3-5 projects concurrently, varying in size and complexity, and will be responsible for managing contractors and vendors, validating designs, and being the subject matter expert (SME) for such projects. </span></span><span style="Arial', sans-serif">In addition to working on longer term projects, this position is responsible for creating and implementing the body of work related to short-term asset upkeep and providing technical assistance to the workforce when needed.</span></span></p> <p><br> <span style=""><span><span style=""><b><span style=""><span><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Responsibilities:</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Manages and directs Asset Care Plan for area of responsibility</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Active communicate equipment status, Uptime, KPI’s, etc. to stakeholders</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Use engineering fundamentals to analyze equipment problems and develop solutions</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Evaluates Equipment DT and develops action plan to correct</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Secures parts and equipment needed to support projects </span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Mentor/coach entry level engineers or other technical community members</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Contractor management during work Outages and project work</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Development of PDS, RFA, and other paperwork needed to procure CAPEX funds</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Initiate, leads, and participates as a SME in CAPEX projects</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Technical guidance/support and training for Craft employees</span></span></span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span><span style=""><b><span style=""><span><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Qualifications:</span></span></span></b></span></span></span></p> <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, required</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span style=""><span><span style=""><span style="Arial', sans-serif">Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment <em>(ex.
