This position ensures accurate financial reporting, adherence to local and international tax regulations, and supports audits and process improvements.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Duties and Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>Tax Compliance & Reporting</strong><br>Prepare and submit VAT returns for multiple entities and jurisdictions (Hungary, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, France, Poland, Austria).<br>Prepare Corporate Income Tax and Local Business Tax returns.<br>Support Global Minimum Tax (GMT) compliance activities.<br>Provide regular reporting to the Corporate Tax Team on actual and forecasted tax obligations.<br>Coordinate with external tax advisors (EY) and European Tax Manager for Transfer Pricing documentation.<br>Prepare calculation of certain defined benefits tax obligations<br>Prepare and submit local small taxes (Rehabilitation contribution, company car, environmental fee etc.)<br><strong>Statutory & Financial Reporting</strong><br>Prepare annual statutory financial statements for Dana Hungary and Dana TM4 Hungary entities.<br>Manage bookkeeping and statutory financial statements for Dana Management Kft.<br>Support external audits and tax inspections (liaison with PwC and other key suppliers).<br><strong>Accounting & General Ledger</strong><br>Perform payroll-related postings and reconciliations.<br>Calculate month-end VAT <br>Review postings for tax and legal compliance.<br><strong>Process & System Support</strong><br>Act as local finance support for SAP developments and enhancements.<br>Participate in process improvement initiatives for accounting and tax workflows.<br><strong>Coordination & Communication</strong><br>Serve as a bridge between local finance and the Lithuanian Shared Services (SSO).<br>Manage relationships with key external suppliers (PwC for audit, EY for tax advisory, R&R for RTIR).<br><strong>Administrative Tasks</strong><br>Manage travel expense reports, advances, and deductions.<br>Handle other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Education and Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p>Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance<br>Experience: Minimum 7 years in accounting, with strong tax compliance and statutory reporting background<br>Registered Hungarian chartered accountant</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Skills and Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><p>In-depth knowledge of Hungarian tax laws and international VAT regulations<br>Familiarity with Global Minimum Tax and transfer pricing principles<br>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br>Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities<br>Business-level English proficiency<br>Experience with SAP FICO, audit coordination, and multinational reporting</p></div></div></div>
