<div id="tor__flistingLayout_readOnlyDiv"> <div id="tor__flistingLayout_content"> <p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Senior EH&amp;S Coordinator to support our Danbury Research &amp; Development facility, Field (Power Plant) operations.</p> <p>This hybrid role will focus primarily on R&amp;D and engineering support in Danbury, with field-based safety support for power generation sites and periodic support at our Torrington manufacturing facility as business needs require.</p> <p>This role will partner closely with engineering, and field service teams to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across diverse working environments. The position requires approximately 30–50% travel to field power plant locations, with occasional travel to Torrington.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, technically strong, and capable of working independently in fast-paced and dynamic settings.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Coordinate and support day-to-day administration of the corporate EH&amp;S program for Danbury R&amp;D, Field Operations, and support activities at the Torrington Manufacturing facility.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.</li> <li>Support compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health &amp; Safety Management System).</li> <li>Prepare regulatory reports and maintain EH&amp;S documentation systems.</li> <li>Partner with engineering and R&amp;D teams to integrate EH&amp;S requirements into design reviews, pilot testing, and new technology development.</li> <li>Provide EH&amp;S with support to manufacturing operations in Torrington as needed, including inspections, hazard assessments, and program implementation.</li> <li>Conduct field site visits to power plants to perform safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance evaluations.</li> <li>Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action tracking across R&amp;D, field, and manufacturing environments.</li> <li>Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and hazard assessments.</li> <li>Assist in permitting activities and environmental compliance, including sampling and reporting.</li> <li>Conduct audits of EH&amp;S recordkeeping and monitor corrective actions to closure.</li> <li>Support contractor and supplier EH&amp;S oversight.</li> <li>Deliver training and ensure employee completion of required EH&amp;S training programs.</li> <li>Support waste management programs (hazardous and non-hazardous materials).</li> <li>Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure EH&amp;S is integrated into projects and field deployments.</li> <li>Support corporate ESG and sustainability initiatives.</li> <li>Complete required reports, data processing, and compliance documentation.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><span>Education</span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health &amp; Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.</li> </ul> <p><span>Experience</span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>5+ years of progressive EH&amp;S experience in field or power generation environments.</li> </ul> <p><span>Candidate Must Possess / Be Knowledgeable In:</span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, R&amp;D, manufacturing, and field teams.</li> <li>Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations. Familiarity with state-specific EH&amp;S regulations (e.g., CT DEEP or other state agencies relevant to field sites).</li> <li>Technical &amp; Analytical Skills: <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Experience conducting hazard analyses, risk assessments, and root cause investigations.</li> <li>Ability to interpret regulations and apply them to engineering, manufacturing, and operational environments.</li> <li>Proficient in data analysis and reporting to support compliance and performance metrics.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><span>Systems &amp; Tools:</span></p> <p>Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with compliance management systems preferred.</p> <p><span>Change &amp; Leadership:</span></p> <p>Demonstrated ability to influence others, support continuous improvement initiatives, and drive safety engagement across teams.</p> <p><strong>Physical Requirements / Working Conditions</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Ability to work in office, laboratory, manufacturing, and outdoor power plant environments.</li> <li>Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hard hats, safety shoes, and respiratory protection as required.</li> <li>Ability to enter warehouse, lab, manufacturing, and field environments, including climbing ladders and walking industrial sites.</li> <li>Ability to travel locally and domestically (30–50%) to support field operations, with periodic travel to the Torrington manufacturing facility.</li> <li>Must be willing to respond to occasional after-hours business needs.</li> <li>Must be able to distinguish colors.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <table width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="height:36.0px"> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p>
