Overview: We are currently seeking a Quality Technician to join our Product Quality team who has a creative, innovative approach to his or her work and will never shy away from offering truthful observations and recommendations. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with exacting attention to detail and the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, quality, and accuracy. A proven track record of experience is essential. Responsibilities: Based out of our Danbury facility or remote, the Quality Technician performs functions associated with the checkout, inspection and testing of fuel cell power plant mechanical and electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) skid assemblies, main components, and individual equipment at supplier/fabricator facilities. Additionally, complete inspections and verifications of mechanical and electrical work at FCE customer power plant installation sites. Including, but not limited to wiring checks, instrumentation (I/O) testing, piping inspections, general build inspections, and the proper documentation of all testing and inspections. Travel to various fabricators and suppliers domestically and occasionally internationally.
