<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Long Description</H2> </div><div><p><strong>Role Summary </strong><br>To perform maintenance, service, and repair work on large and small tool & dies regarding engineering changes and improvements,</p> <p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>General drilling and tapping, milling, turning, and grinding - cylindrical & surface - in the tool room.</li> <li>Service work on all dies in the Press Shop.</li> <li>Repair in the press during failure.</li> <li>Ensure quality of press parts by optimized die maintenance.</li> <li>Responsible for spare parts stock</li> <li>Servicing of dies with stamping nuts and supportive equipment.</li> <li>PM (Preventive Maintenance on Tooling)</li> <li>Re-construction of dies: turning, milling, drilling, and grinding</li> <li>Spotting of dies</li> <li>MIG, TIG, Stick welding</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Education & Experience </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent; required</li> <li>Toolmaker Apprenticeship/Journeyman preferred</li> <li>Associate degree in machining preferred</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Key Qualifications/Requirements </strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Minimum of Five (5) years automotive tool & die experience preferred</li> <li>Class A automotive experience preferred</li> <li>Knowledge in pneumatics </li> <li>Experience with nut setting equipment </li> <li>Standard parts </li> <li>MIG, TIG, Stick welding, hard brazing</li> <li>Basic CAD drawing knowledge</li> <li>Metric System</li> <li>Basic knowledge of press operation</li> </ul></div></div></div>
