Each Valentino colleague is crucial to guarantee that every need in Valentino is met with mastery, creativity, uniqueness, and care.</p> <p> </p><p><span>We are looking for a <strong>Global Retail Operation Specialist</strong> - Maternity Cover to be hired for a maternity leave substitution based in Milan.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support daily store operations by assisting the Global Retail Operations team and regional referents in managing priorities, tracking tasks, and ensuring alignment across markets.</li> <li>Assist in the implementation of new projects and tools, coordinating multiple activities and liaising with HQ departments and store teams to ensure timely execution.</li> <li>Support project coordination of the Voice of Clients and Close the Loop projects by monitoring survey outcomes and follow up with internal stakeholders (e-commerce, customer care, retail) to drive corrective or preventive actions.</li> <li>Support no-core goods management by assisting in the forecasting and allocation tracking of packaging, stationery, uniforms, and store tools.</li> <li>Support the RFID project by monitoring store usage, identifying gaps, and proposing specific action plans to improve compliance and efficiency.</li> <li>Ensure strong inventory control by tracking key indicators, identifying anomalies, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.</li> <li>Assist in mapping store procedures and technical processes to draft and coordinate the publication of global retail operations guidelines.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze operational KPIs to assess store performance, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven decision-making through regular reporting on areas such as end-of-season returns, stock discrepancies, consignments, discounts, store transfers, and omnichannel performance.</li> <li>Provide first-level technical support to stores for digital tools, retail systems, and omnichannel platforms, coordinating with IT partners to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.</li> <li>Develop and deliver training materials to support the adoption of new tools and processes, ensuring store teams are equipped with clear and effective guidance.</li> <li>Create memos and presentations for Top Management as requested.</li> <li>Perform other duties as required to support the Retail Operations function.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.</li> <li>Previous experience in Retail Operations, Project Coordination, or Consulting is a plus</li> <li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail</li> <li>Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of reporting tools and AI is a plus</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionality</li> <li>Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Fluent in English and Italian, additional languages are a plus</li> </ul> <p> </p><p>The Valentino ecosystem is home to a wide and extraordinary pool of talents, each colleague contributing with their unique attributes, nurturing a culture of inclusivity and equality.
