Each Valentino colleague is crucial to guarantee that every need in Valentino is met with mastery, creativity, uniqueness, and care.</p> <p> </p><p><strong>Job Mission: </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The Europe Finance Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate financial accounting, robust control, and high quality reporting for the European Retail perimeter.<br>The role combines hands-on accounting ownership with controlling and performance monitoring, acting as a key financial partner for Retail and Finance leadership.</p> <p><br>This position plays a critical role in safeguarding data integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision making across multiple European markets.</p> <p> </p> <p>This position plays a critical role in safeguarding data integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision‑making across multiple European markets.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for the assigned European Companies</li> <li>Manage general ledger monthly accounting activities including posting of accruals, provisions, stock, intercompany reconciliation</li> <li>Prepare the Group Reporting Package and monthly detailed reports requested by HQ</li> <li>Collaborate with the internal or external local accounting counterparts and follow all operational day by day activities related to legal entities under his/her responsibility</li> <li>Ensure that adequate processes and internal controls are implemented and maintained</li> <li>Support the stores for the assigned companies (i.e. administrative queries, support for specific compliance matters, etc)</li> <li>Collaborate with the Europe Business Controllers in ad hoc requests and analysis</li> <li>Preparation of supporting documentation for Group Sustainability Reporting</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>KEY REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>3/4+ years of relevant experience</li> <li>Strong planning and organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to perform under pressure and to meet deadlines</li> <li>Good team player attitude and excellent communication skills</li> <li>Work knowledge of MS Office, previous experience with SAP is an advantage</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> </ul> <p> </p><p>The Valentino ecosystem is home to a wide and extraordinary pool of talents, each colleague contributing with their unique attributes, nurturing a culture of inclusivity and equality.
