Following the acquisition of a major contract, we are preparing to expand into the US market. This marks a pivotal moment in our company’s growth — offering exceptional opportunities for individuals eager to contribute from the ground up through to the start of production in 2028.</p><p>Your tasks</p> <ul> <li>Management of purchasing activities for dedicated customer projects along the project lifetime including a liability for the project's material cost, quality and timing</li> <li>Conduction of sourcing process within dedicate customer projects in alignment with commodity strategies</li> <li>Serial support of customer projects along the whole product lifetime (SOP until EOP)</li> <li>Supporting the target-costing process for customer projects during acquisition phase</li> <li>Creation and alignment of procurement concept</li> <li>Sourcing of project specific parts</li> <li>Change management during project and series phase</li> <li>Organization and execution of progress reviews with suppliers to ensure the internal production start</li> <li>Continuous identification and implementation of cost reduction measures (VA/VE)</li> <li>Preparation and conduction of negotiations with suppliers</li> <li>Preparation and presentation of sourcing decisions in the sourcing board</li> <li>Coordination of technical meetings (feasibility study / concepts / etc.) with suppliers, including the necessary technical functions (Quality / Design / Tool Technology)</li> </ul> <p>Your Profile</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor degree (technical or commercial)</li> <li>At least 2-3 years experience in strategic and/or operational procurement preferably within automotive industry</li> <li>Presentation and communication skills</li> <li>Negotiation expertise / Analytical mindset (Ability to analyze complex cost breakdowns to secure competitive pricing)</li> <li>Ability to assess risks and opportunities in supplier cost breakdowns</li> <li>Sharp negotiation tactics</li> <li>Ability to balance cost savings with strategic relationships</li> <li>Good technical understanding</li> <li>Experience in handling complex programs from procurement perspective from concept through launch and during serial production</li> <li>Ability to collaborate cross functional in a project team</li> </ul><p style="text-align:justify">Brose Sitech offers stable employment and interesting, challenging work, contact with new technologies, individual opportunities for professional development, as well as additional financial and non-financial benefits.</p>
