<ul> <li><strong>8/6 FIFO from Perth roster</strong></li> <li><strong>Excellent Life of Mine – 10 years plus!</strong></li> <li><strong>Ideal role for an experienced underground Production Engineer</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p> <p>You’ll be a key member of a diverse and experienced Underground Mining team at Granny Smith Gold Mine. <br><br>Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Production, you will be responsible for all mining aspects including the development and implementation of production plans in line with short to medium term planning targets.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why You’ll Love Working for Us:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Permanent role with a leading gold producer </li> <li>6% site allowance</li> <li>Quarterly bonus up to 10% per annum, private health insurance allowance</li> <li>5 weeks annual leave, pro rata long service leave after 5 years, paid parental leave</li> <li>$10K employee referral bonus</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Development and implementation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans in line with operational targets.</li> <li>Ensure that stope designs and subsequent drill and blast plans maximise ore extraction and minimise dilution.</li> <li>Direct and lead all members of the technical and operational mining team and ensure goal unity through concise communication.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.</li> <li>Completion of Underground time</li> <li>Proven underground hard rock engineering experience, preferably gold, with exposure to all production phases including ventilation and experience in Drill and Blast, ideally Longhole Open Stoping and/or Inclined Room and Pillar methods.</li> <li>Exposure to Mining software Deswik CAD and UGDB would be highly regarded.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>About Gold Fields</strong></p> <p>At Gold Fields, we believe great leadership is grounded in empathy, respect, and growth.
