<ul> <li><strong>8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, or live locally in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie </strong></li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li><strong>Permanent role with a leading gold producer </strong></li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Bring your experience within underground mining & ventilation</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p> <p>You will work closely with a diverse team to optimise ventilation demand and supply to support efficient gold extraction and maximise business value for our Underground Mining Team at St Ives Gold Mine.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why You’ll Love Working for Us:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><a name="_Hlk213923844"></a>6% site allowance</li> <li>Quarterly bonus up to 10% per annum, monthly private health insurance allowance</li> <li>5 weeks annual leave, pro rata long service leave after 5 years, paid parental leave</li> <li>$10K employee referral bonus</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Drive ventilation planning across LOM, quarterly, weekly and monthly horizons to support production, safety and long-term mine strategy, ensuring all statutory requirements and records are accurately maintained.</li> <li>Lead clear ventilation coordination and communication by defining constraints, issuing instructions, and providing direction to mining teams, underground personnel, contractors and graduates.</li> <li>Support continuous improvement and project delivery through involvement in ventilation projects, capital infrastructure planning, and monitoring of ventilation system performance.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline plus</li> <li>A manual driver’s licence.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience within Underground Engineering with exposure to longhole drilling, blasting, ventilation, projects, planning and scheduling - preferably gold</li> <li>Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, and mining software such as Deswik CAD with experience with Ventsim would be highly regarded.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About Gold Fields</strong></p> <p>At Gold Fields, we believe great leadership is grounded in empathy, respect, and growth.
