Role Summary: Responsible for category management, supplier relationship management, value delivery, sustainability & resiliency of assigned categories of $10-100M+ in spend for Sr Specialist role and $1M - $10M for Specialist role. Role Responsibilities: <ol style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in"> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%">Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure the procurement of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. Specialist will assist. </li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%">Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with company standards.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%">Financial Management: Working with business owners identify opportunities for cost savings, working capital and efficiency improvements.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%">Risk Management: Identify and mitigate price and/or continuity risks to ensure a resilient supply chain.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%">Performance Reporting: Prepare and present procurement performance reports as applicable per category managed to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.</li> <li style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 0.0in 0.0px;line-height:115%">Lead and execute Request for Proposal (RFP) and other competitive bidding events including conducting due diligence on suppliers, contacting suppliers to communicate requirements, evaluating bids received and summarizing findings with the Business Owner.</li> </ol> NOTE: Specialist will be responsible for low to medium complexity. Sr Specialist will be responsible for medium to high complexity.
