You will oversee a significant portion of the annual maintenance spend and lead commercial performance across a large contractor workforce.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Own the full sourcing and contracting process, from strategy through to negotiation and mobilisation</li> <li>Implement and enforce the commercial control framework covering change control, performance management, and audit compliance</li> <li>Oversee financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control</li> <li>Drive supplier performance to ensure productivity, quality, and compliance with site standards</li> <li>Work closely with Maintenance and Turnaround teams to support planning, daily execution, and major shutdown events</li> <li>Ensure strong commercial discipline, transparent decision‑making, and high standards of delivery across all maintenance contracts</li> </ul> <p>This is a high‑impact role that combines commercial leadership with operational engagement in a fast‑paced industrial environment.</p><p> </p> <p><strong>About You </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>You will be an experienced commercial or contract management professional with a strong background in industrial, manufacturing or energy environments. You’re confident leading complex, high‑value contracts and building constructive relationships with both internal teams and senior supplier leaders.</p> <p>You’ll bring:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong commercial and financial skills, with the ability to analyse cost data and influence decisions</li> <li>A proven track record in sourcing, negotiation and supplier performance management</li> <li>Experience managing maintenance or industrial service contracts in operational environments</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, including the ability to challenge constructively</li> <li>High digital capability, ideally with experience using cost‑management or ERP systems</li> <li>A flexible, calm and proactive approach, able to manage shifting priorities and fast‑moving situations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Desirable experience and qualifications:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Experience working on a COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) site or similar high‑hazard environment</li> <li>Professional membership such as MRICS, MCIPS, or equivalent</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Closing Date</strong></p> <p>Applications for this position will close on 1st July 2026.
