The ideal candidate will be experienced with selecting suppliers based on engineering requirements, suppliers’ capabilities and suppliers’ capacity. Functioning as R&D Engineering’s Supplier Liaison, the ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate with suppliers on a technical and procurement level. The ideal candidate will have experience with navigating and being integral to the Procurement process though an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The candidate should have practical experience in Manufacturing and Quality Assurance for machined components and sub-assemblies, preferably for use in military or commercial aviation. The R&D Manufacturing & Procurement Engineer (MPE) role is an interdisciplinary position which facilitates easy and accurate flow of information between R&D Design Engineering, Technical Program Managers, Procurement and Suppliers. The R&D MPE must be flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a member of a team.
